zfb dev now serves files under public/assets/ live, through the same contained /assets chain as the generated assets. Before, the reserved /assets mount intercepted them, so they returned 404 until a zfb build copied a stale snapshot into dist/assets, and they never resolved under a base prefix. Edits, additions, and deletions are picked up immediately. public/assets/ files that collide with generated names (styles.css, islands.js, islands-*.js, client/) are refused, and each one gets a boot warning that names the configured public directory (9b1a30c8, 31b4be90).
MDX: explicit HTML tables whose rows or sections share a line with text, such as <thead><tr><th>A</th></tr></thead>, no longer get paragraph-wrapped into table > p > thead or tbody > p > tr. That wrapping made zudo-react rendering fail with ZR_PARSER_CONTEXT. The paragraphs are now unwrapped at every MDX parse site: the compile parse, the content pipeline, transclusion, and directive re-parsing. Cell and caption content, components, GFM pipe tables, and {…}-wrapped tables are unchanged (5fb773fc).
